RankPicked participates in affiliate programs with:

• NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark, CyberGhost, ProtonVPN (VPN affiliates)
• Hostinger, SiteGround, Bluehost, WP Engine, Cloudways (web hosting affiliates)
• Jasper AI, SEMrush, Notion (software affiliates)
• Amazon Associates (for hardware recommendations)

For each product we review, we disclose whether we have an affiliate relationship and what that relationship is (CPA, CPS, recurring commission, etc.).

How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Reviews

Short answer: they don't. We rank products based on performance, not commission rates.

In detail:

• We test fairly: Every product in a category receives the same testing framework and duration.
• We disclose commissions: You'll see our commission structure on every review page.
• We rank by performance: A product with a $10 affiliate commission ranks lower than a better product with no commission.
• We recommend non-affiliate alternatives: If the best product doesn't have an affiliate program, we still recommend it (and note that we don't earn commission).

Commission Structures

Our affiliate relationships vary by vendor:

• CPA (Cost Per Action): We earn per sign-up ($40-$100 for VPNs)
• CPS (Cost Per Sale): We earn a percentage of purchase value (typically 5-15%)
• Recurring: We earn a small percentage each month a customer remains subscribed

Higher commissions don't influence our rankings. We are incentivized to recommend products our readers actually use long-term.
